Dating is not so easy
This is me at the dog park. Dating can be so difficult, especially the introductions...I think this is how it is done.

Someone is dropping the ball here!
Cooper here. Our blog has had some serious issues of late. It seems "someone" has not been keeping up their end of the bargain and has fallen asleep on the job. I have discussed this with Mum and it shall be remedied very shortly. Until then, I think we all know who is responsible for this total lack of regard concerning the timeliness of blog entries and appropriate content. I will not point paws but I think we all know who that "someone" is.
Looks like "someone" is sleeping on the job to me.

We Sleep- Because We Can
The rain continues. The backyard is a mud pit. We got sent to the vet's office for two days so Mum and Dad could have new flooring put in the house - apparently we are not considered helpful when they have strangers in the house. We came home exhausted (and I mean tired). So we napped. And then we napped a bit more.
Check out the drool pool by Cooper's mouth...he's got a major flood going on there! BOL!

(Big Sigh) Sad Face
Dozer Dog is limping. We are not sure why. He is favoring his left hind leg. The one we had surgery on three years ago to rebuild. We are going to watch him for a another day and see if rest and pain meds help. Please let this be a momentary glitch in his get-along. Love is immeasurable..what price can we put on this face?

I Passed! I Passed! by Dozer
I had my agility aptitude test this afternoon and I passed! I went through the tunnel, I learned how to do weaves and I love the raised walk and fences! I got lots of treats and I even went through the wickets like a pro. I have lots to learn so we will start our agility lessons on Tuesday night at 6:30pm. My teacher, Sharon, says I need to get my nails trimmed because I need to be able to grip - so Mum is getting the dremel out and if that doesn't fly, it is off to the groomer. I hate having my nails clipped!
Mum was so proud of me, she said I was "a natural"! We stopped at Petco to get two leashes (one is 4ft and one is 6ft) and lots of treats for our class. Mum also bought me a pig's ear as a surprise!
I am pretty tired tonight because I did a lot of running but I had a great time!

Dozer's Naps Off Sunday
Don't blink 'cause it is just 15 seconds of my gorgeous-ness.
My little snorglebutt saws some major Zzzz's
Patient Update: Dozer appears to be fully recovered from whatever he did to his back. He took a one mile walk this morning and is begging to play fetch or at least tug-of-war. Thank you for all your good wishes and prayers!

Dozer Asleep, We're Partying! - Cooper
So the Oregon State Veterinary School Hospital called and Dozer's surgery went just fine and he was asleep with an IV for his pain meds. He gets to come home tomorrow sometime and Mum has gotten the blue donut from our vet so Dozer cannot lick his wound.
Since things had gone so well, I said to Mum "Let's have a drink!" And Mum said, "Are you out of your mind or have you been nipping at the cooking sherry again?" (I have a fondness for good wine, beer or anything alcoholic). Obviously Mum was not going to let me have a drink but she said I could have a vegetable instead, so I chose celery because it chews nice.
This here is Dottie trying to grab some celery off the floor with limited success.
She got some paw action going and managed to get a piece.
I swear the celery hit me in the eye!
Chomp, chomp, num, num - very good
Takes a bit of jaw action to get everything moving.Mum says to tell you she will update everyone on Dozer tomorrow after he gets home from the hospital. But all your prayers and good wishes did the job - he is on the mend.

Monday, Monday - Not such a good day
Dozer's Mum here. Dozer is going to the vet this morning because we believe he has blown out his right rear knee (you may remember he did his left rear knee almost a year ago to the day). He is not feeling very well but we have him on his pain medication and will get him into see his favorite vets and see if we can schedule surgery or whatever they suggest. We suspect this has been coming on for a bit because he has not been his usual rambunctious self.
On the bright side, we received a package from our good friend Tibby, who resides on the East Coast of t
he United States. Although Dozer is dying to open the box, we have decided to wait until tonight so we can all sit down together and see what is inside. Could it be something say...pink? Yes, PINK BABY has come to Oregon to visit Dozer, Dottie and Cooper! Can you believe it? Pink Baby belongs to Miss Kylie who lives in Massachusetts. This traveling stuffie has been to Singapore and visited all sorts of dogs like the Musketeers! We have only a week to show Pink Baby our side of Oregon and even with Dozer's serious injury we will do our best.

Disclaimer: We cannot rise to the level of Tibby with Pink Baby. First off, we cannot sew collars, nor can we make teeny little pancakes for PB. We're not entirely sure what we can do to make this a truly Oregon experience but we will do our best!
Please keep Dozer in your thoughts today as we determine what the best course of action is for his leg.

Don't give your day job Mum - from Dozer
So Mum was waiting on the phone and on “hold” for an inordinate amount of time this morning and decided to see if she could draw me (as if any drawing could capture my handsome-ness). I think we can all agree that Mum had better not give up her day job because we would be starving if we were dependent on her art skills. Honestly, isn’t this why they have art schools?

Scottie Tongue Challenge - Cooper
Those funny scotties at Rocky Creek (click here) are having a contest to celebrate their 100th blog entry (where did the time go guys?). You have to post pictures of you with your tongue hanging out. So we scrounged around our boxes of pictures. And here we go with our entries!
Cooper doesn't stick his out very far 'cause he's a Cocker.
Check out the size of my tongue!
