Post 4th News

Once again our Mum has embarrassed us to no end by dressing up for her 5k Walk Race and then standing by the parade route looking like a red, white and blue candle. She made the front page of the paper (with Aunt Emely above) but thankfully we live in such a small town that perhaps no one will notice.

The drugs Mum got for me to make the fireworks less stressful made me a stumbling fool so after a test dose, those drugs were put away and not used again. I got kind of loopy and very sad looking. I made it through the holiday with minimal stress and barking.

How was your 4th? Let me know!

Love, Dozer

Yay, you're back! Mama had gotten slack about checking your blog; we apologise. We're sorry your grandmother got hurt but we're glad she's coming to live near you so you can see her lots and lots.

We're so sorry about your allergies, Dozer. We both have allergies, too. Jed gets allergy shots once a week, and we both take antihistamines everyday. It helps.

Hope your rain went west to douse the fires and you had a nice party. Wish it would cool down here.

Take care!

Glad you made it through the holiday. I know all those booming noises are very stressful. Finn and Lola took their stress medicine and were a little loopy on the 3rd and spent the evening of the 4th in the powder room, where it's quiet. All in all, they did pretty well this year.

We're so glad you all had a nice holiday!

Smooches!

There was lots of noise and we even had storms. Mommy gives me calming chews that are herbal and I do pretty good with them. I still bark a lot and get kind of scared and hide.

My Grandpa Angus used to take drugs before fireworks and he got all stoned too and then he would have kind of a drug hangover the next morning. I swear, though, the drugs are nothing compared to your mom's outfit. Will you ever be able to show your face in public again?
