So We've Been Sprung

So we got home from Inavale Farm and we had a fabulous time. I played ball until I thought my paws would fall off, Cooper spent a lot of time with the ladies in the front office having "lap time" and Dottie, from all reports, wandered around and even went out in the play room. Still, when Mum finally showed up with our release papers, we went a little wild...okay, a lot of wild. Coop and I hung our heads out the windows in the car all the way home.

First things first, got to leave messages in the backyard.

(If his tongue gets any bigger he can use it to wash windows!)

First Roach of the New Year

Dottie was finally caught in a full roach in the family room. Mum said the conditions were perfect and she could feel this roaching exercise was imminent. Dottie is an old hand at roaching - I mean she is 13 years old so she should know what she is doing. Anyway, Mum says we have to post this video. Personally I think the first post of the New Year should be about me and I do not like being usurped! But Mum keeps waving a list of resolutions in my direction so apparently there is a message there. Whatever her message is, I'm not acknowledging it. Hey, aren't resolutions made to be broken?

Roachin' Proud Moment!

Dottie finally make her entrance at the Paw-limpics
with an honorable mention in the "Roaching" competition.
We think her style and form pretty much says it all...
(pretty darn strange if you ask me, but I'm just a Corgi,
what would I know.)

And while Coop and I didn't get an award,
we were the only two who competed in the Team Roaching.
(Although if you look closely, you can see Cooper is
definitely slacking on his roaching in the picture.)

Dottie Roaches for Mango

Mum has been trying to get a picture of any of us roaching to send to Mango and the Corgi Girls at the Corgi Lounge to show them that these corgis and cocker roach with the best of them. Finally last night Dottie did some great roaching on the living room carpeting which shows some great twisting action with the open mouth and feet flailing to give you the whole feeling of rolling around. We're pretty proud of Miss Dottie for pulling this all together for our blog. It earned her some extra treats and our eternal thanks.
