The Horror of it All

So's Mum leaves us at our favorite place in the whole world, Inavale Farm. We had a ball and came home tired. Inavale always puts a scarf around your neck when you leave, usually prints and bright colors. But something went very wrong yesterday. Cooper and I got PINK scarves! We're BOY dogs we don't wear no PINK! It is so embarressing!
I had sort of hot pink on - that scarf is now history.
Cooper had a light pink. This is him with his chewy which looks
alot like a cigar because of the way he chews'em.
And this is the merry Dotster who stayed at the vet and
didn't have to wear a scarf. She's laughing at us. Alot.

So We've Been Sprung

So we got home from Inavale Farm and we had a fabulous time. I played ball until I thought my paws would fall off, Cooper spent a lot of time with the ladies in the front office having "lap time" and Dottie, from all reports, wandered around and even went out in the play room. Still, when Mum finally showed up with our release papers, we went a little wild...okay, a lot of wild. Coop and I hung our heads out the windows in the car all the way home.

First things first, got to leave messages in the backyard.

Dottie is so competitive..crap! (literally)

Here I am ladies, come on over for a big kiss!

Oh yeah, Coop says to come over for another big wet one.
(If his tongue gets any bigger he can use it to wash windows!)

Dottie went really wild when she got through the door
into the living room- check out her roaching technique!

Go baby go! Check out the jaw action and her teetheses!

More later, we have to go unpack right now :)

Canine Flu - From the BeeKeeper

Morning fellow bloggers, Dozer here. I just wanted to "bee" the one to alert you to Canine Flu and have you go read this article so you can be ready and prepared. Click here. Mum heard about it on NPR - that woman is addicted to NPR but that is another story. This here is Dottie sending you a big "aroooo!"

Mum and Dad are leaving in a few days for Alaska - without us! We are going to our favorite place in the world, Inavale Farm, you remember the horse farm with the two-story deluxe doggie hotel. But I love the pond best, I love to go play in there and then of course there are the hikes, the indoor play arena, etc. Mum will update our blog while they are on the ship doing the Inland Passage but I wanted to let you know we are not going to 'lock-up' or anything, we're going to be partying for a week. We love you all!

We're Back - Dozer's Notes

While I am glad to be back, it was horrifying to find out that Mum was seeing "others" while she was away. And they aren't even of our species! Mum swears this is just a metal turtle at a park (yeah, like I just fell of the turnip truck) and they were just "friends". How dumb do I look? She's covering its eyes up - just like those black squares censors put over folks when they want to hide identities. And Mr. Turtle looks pretty darn happy if you ask me. Fortunately Dad picked us up from The Farm - where it was one long party for three days! We had a ball and Dottie got into party mode like a pro. When it was time to leave she wasn't so sure that she wanted to come. Dad told Mum that Dottie wasn't exactly running for the door when he arrived - she was checking out McDuff the Scottie Dog who lives in the front office most of the time. Apparently little Miss Dottie had a small crush on you-know-who!
Try as we did, the ladies at The Farm decided baths and nail trims were the order of the day and then they topped it off with scarves around our necks. Even Cooper was slightly embarrassed (I was simply appalled - we're guys after all, we don't wear neck ornamentation. How hard is this to understand ladies?) Anyway, Dottie apparently looked "absolutely adorable" according to Mum who went just a little crazy when she got home. There was the usual round of kisses, hugs, rolling on the floor, little squeals of delight, and general greetings and that was just Cooper !
Dottie went a little overboard - like Coop - and did a major roach on the living room floor. Like I have said before, there are piggies on farms and there is Dottie in our house. Honestly, if she had cloven hooves, you would never know the difference.
Cooper decided Dad making spaghetti was the place to camp out. It wasn't like we didn't get good food, it was all great. But Dad's spaghetti is world famous (thanks to the Ragu folks who put that red stuff in the glass jar).
I thought I would leave you with my tres chic visage (that means good looking face - I learned it from a French poodle at The Farm). We are home! Hooray!
