We Took a Week Off...For MY BURPDAY!

Yes, the rumors are true, I am five years old! Can you believe Dozer Edwards is five years old? I am very excited because the whole day was about me, although I did share some of my cake and toys.

We started with some Frosty Paws!
Mum had a glass of wine and she did not share.

Dottie did a quick inspection of her Frosty Paw.

And then put a portion in her giganormous mouth!

Cooper, once again, did his licking action. He licks everything.

Let's have a close-up of that licking action. Check out his tongue! BOL!

Meet Mr. Monkey! He was my BIG present, he's over two feet tall
and has squeekers in each appendage...whatever those are.

I had to show Mr. Monkey who was boss so
I pushed his head down into the carpeting.

Then I circled Mr. Monkey, watching these so called "appendages"

Cooper came in and checked out Mr. Monkey.

Again with the licking action.

I took hold of Mr. Monkey to show him who is boss!

I gave him a good bitey in the middle!

Tomorrow I get to play with the logic game Mum got for just me! (You hear me Cooper?) Oh well, I guess I will share the logic game but I get to play it first and Mum has to take lots and lots of pictures of me playing. And you can't lick it Cooper! You gotta promise not to lick it!

Happy 12th Birthday Cooper!

Today we celebrate Cooper Edward's 12th birthday! Whoo Hoo! Mum says Coop was 9 years old when he came to live with us and now he is even older. There will be presents tonight and extra treats and back rubs all around!

Mum says I have to say something nice about Cooper because it is his birthday so let's see what I can muster.

Why I like Cooper:

1. He eats slowly so I can steal his kibble.
2. He buries bones and sometimes I find them before he does.
3. He farts more than I do so he gets the blame most of the time.
4. He smells okay.
5. He's my brother.

Let's Have Cake - Dozer

Mum and I were perusing the Net and went over to www.cakecentral.com and www.cakewrecks.com and found some beautiful canine cakes. Most were for peoples to eat but there was one just for a doggie birthday which means they make cake for us dog types. I think Mum should buy us a cake or at least a couple of slices. Here some of the ones I liked best.

(And our next post will show you all the nifty awards we won over the last week! Cooper is currently polishing them otherwise I would have put them up.)
This is a chocolate lab! (Chocolate...get it? Oh never mind!)
This is the "doggie cake" and it is all edible for doguss' like me. (hint, hint)
Yup, it is a West Highland Terrier and he is edible and delectable.
What a face! What a bulldog!
Check out this Jack Russell! He almost looks real and much too good to eat.

It's My Bark-Day - from Dozer

Today I am 4 years old (makes Mum a little misty-eyed). This is the very first picture Mum took of me. It was the night I came to live with her when I was just a wee 10 months old. Then I was a very happy only child. Cooper followed about 8 months later and then Dottie...well she arrived in January 2008. Mum's not sure where the time has gone but it has flown. Last night I got a bison bone, and this morning I got a cookie from the vet, my dental chewie, my Rimadyl and a vitamin chew. Birthdays rock!

And Chris from www.lickedtoys.com put my newest video up on his website (Mr. Lambchop doing the twirly dance). What a day!

Dog Gone it Birthday Card - Dozer's Notes

I helped Mum make this card for Auntie Laura's birthday this coming Friday. Auntie Laura has four Chihuahua's (Tucker, Sparky, Katie, and Molly). So I told Mum that a dog-themed card would be the order of the day but that she could not post this entry until Wednesday when we will be celebrating Auntie Laura's big day. Not that I don't trust Auntie Laura, but she does check the Internet at lunchtime and she might stumble upon my blog and then she would see what I made her. We bought her a cute little scrapbook she can make for her pups and Mum said she will wrap it in the gift wrap she made with pictures of us. I will have Mum scan some so you can see how handsome I am on paper. What can I say? I have permanent eyeliner and a smile..it's a gift! ~ Dozer

P.S. I decided not to wait to post this and we will hope Auntie Laura doesn't spot it.
