Hailing All Saints ~ Dozer

I am pleased to announce that I have found a spiritual director (Mum rolls eyes and snorts). No seriously. Sister Mary Martha's blog is very englightening and I am learning lots and lots about God and Heaven. Apparently God is not smoting people like he did in the Old Testament and He had good reason to His smotes back then. But more importantly, a little corgi like me has a very good chance of getting into Heaven if I start paying attention. Even more importantly that the previous more imporantly is that Sister Mary Martha has really cool religious medals that would look tote smart on my collar. And let me tell you there are a lot of Saints in the Catholic Church - I mean they have almost every calamity and situation covered!

Sister Mary Martha lives at http://asksistermarymartha.blogspot.com/. She is definitely not a woose, she is one of those tough nuns who gets the job done.

Her glasses scare me a bit but I am betting she has a lot of treats hidden in the folds of her habit. Cooper says not to plan on it. What does he know...

Wordless Wednesday

(This is so pathetic. Cooper is just trying to snorgle with Mum)

(I am so out of here. If she's sleeping then she can't be
getting me treats. I have to find a vertical food provider)

The Old Bat Has Been Out

Mum has been worthless these past five days.
She got an ear infection (go figure that one out).
Then she spent the whole weekend cleaning the kitchen'
painting the bathroom, vacuuming,
taking us for walks and doing web work.

So these are old photographs of us that Mum dug out.
Except that the house looks the same
so you really can't tell when Mum took these.
See? Coop is in the same position on the same chair.

Shutter your eyes ladies, its Mr. Handsome at his bestest!

And Miss Dottie looking particularly winsome.

Mum will get things caught up soon. Otherwise we're going to have to start shopping for a new Mum. You can apply via our comment section. Those who are generous with the treats will get extra points.

Our Favorite Place to Visit

We got to go to one of our most favorite places on Saturday - Ark Animal Hospital. We love it there - they have cheese-in-a-can! Anyway, Mum had this misguided notion that all three of us could go in for our kennel cough vaccination at once. It turned into a three ring circus but we had a good time!

Note that they put us in the largest room. Mum took our leashes off and then it was run and bark time.

This is Cooper showing off - he likes to show how he can flare out his fur. Personally I think he is praying that they don't put the thermometer up his bootie, but they did anyway.

This Dottie having her heart checked. They had to hold her mouth close because she makes a lot of noise when she breathes.

Another view of Dottie. Her ears look like a windmill! BOL!

Mum says we are all healthy and it was a good visit. We love the vet (Melody) and all the folks at Ark. They always get down on the floor with us which we appreciate. And they have giganormous treats!

Related? Good Question - Dozer

Mum says I have gone to the pancake pantry one time too many and my brain is addled. She started pulling out pictures to prove Uncle B is actually her brother. She found this recent one that was taken by Uncle Alex. All it proves is that this man wears glasses like Mum. The she pulled out this picture which is very old. (Didn't they have color film back in 1967?) Mum swears that she is in the picture on the left. I think not! First off, that little girl isn't wearing glasses and Mum wears glasses. And second, Mum hates short sleeved dresses so that is another clue that this is an imposter. The only good thing about the picture is that the little girl is not holding a dog, because if it really was Mum I would be very jealous.
Cooper has stopped crying and is looking through the toy bins to see what he wants to take to Texas. We got an invitation from Gerald and Janice to visit them in British Columbia as well. I decided we will not run right off but give Mum some time to make it up to us for her unexplained absences. More treats over here puhlease!

It's My Bark-Day - from Dozer

Today I am 4 years old (makes Mum a little misty-eyed). This is the very first picture Mum took of me. It was the night I came to live with her when I was just a wee 10 months old. Then I was a very happy only child. Cooper followed about 8 months later and then Dottie...well she arrived in January 2008. Mum's not sure where the time has gone but it has flown. Last night I got a bison bone, and this morning I got a cookie from the vet, my dental chewie, my Rimadyl and a vitamin chew. Birthdays rock!

And Chris from www.lickedtoys.com put my newest video up on his website (Mr. Lambchop doing the twirly dance). What a day!
