Mum here: Dozer is home tonight after having his teeth cleaned. He has a hard time with general anesthetic so he is camped out on the bed and having back rubs and snuggles. He was overdue for a teeth cleaning but he did great. While he was under, the vet clipped his nails and clipped all the hair between his pads because he has been licking his paws like a fiend of late. He has had a whopping dose of Prednisone (2 more to come) to stop any itching.
He has had a light dinner and is now asleep. Cooper has had lots of love and pets as well and he too is asleep.
More updates tomorrow.
Teeth are important, especially if you want to kill the hose!

awww, dozer, i'm sorry you had to go to the V-E-T, but i'm glad you're home now and have sparkly toothies! just keep chillin', and i hope you are back to 100% very super fast like!

Oh Dozer! We are glad u are back and have shiny sparkling teeth now. Hope the cleaning guy was gentle and it isn't painful now.

Sadie needs to get her teeth cleaned, but I'm so scared about her going under the anesthesia! I am glad Dozer is doing well!!

Our lil' Addie went through this over the summer, and it knocked her flat. Was so glad when the sleepy meds got out of her system, and she was herself again. It's hard being a dog mama, isn't it?
