Is it spring, is it, is it?

Well it felt like spring today. The sun was out and the daffodils have bloomed, the pussy willow bush is all fuzzy and the birds are eating out of the feeder. When Mum got home, we said "Let's go for a walk after our dinner!" Mum put us in our vests - you will remember I wear the blue one and Cooper wears the red one and we have matching leashes.

So off we went to the park and we had a great time. We walked all around and then Mum let us go check out the bushes.

This is me eating the new grass. It's like salad, only better.

This is Coop checking out a bush.
That's his butt.
I wrote on the picture just so you know
he doesn't have a strange face.
It's his big, fat BUTT!

Dottie stayed home but she felt us come in the house.
And she demanded treats for being left behind.

The Mum weeded almost all of the front garden.
I advised from the couch.
You can see my legs in the window.
Can you see me?

Then Mum opened the mail.
She got a package from Aunt Cheryl.
It was a box of files.
Okay it wasn't a box of files.
She put the present in the box.

It's a scrapbook Aunt Cheryl made for Mum!
Mum got all teary over it (sheesh!)
But you know what the best part is?
It's all about ME!

There are pages and pages of me.
And (big sigh) Cooper.
Aunt Cheryl did a great job.
She has a great sense of humor and cracks Mum up.

Isn't Aunt Cheryl pretty? We think so too.

Mum says she needs to get her box to Aunt Cheryl off now. She found this really neat old clock for Aunt Cheryl. She says Aunt Cheryl like old things like she does. If I were Aunt Cheryl I would want a new clock but I don't understand women so go figure.

What a great scrapbook....Thats what our mom does too. She loves looking back at all the fun times we had.

Hmm...We are with you ....not sure why someone would want an old clock instead of a new one....humans....we will never figure them out.

Hi Dozer!

Sorry for not visiting for so long...hope you are well! That is a great scrapbook that your Aunt Cheryl made! I wish I had a swell scrapbook like that...*grins* I don't really understand the thing about people liking old stuff too, but they all say it's 'vintage' or 'antique', so I guess it must mean something valuable, right? *grins*

Hope you have a great weekend!

Scottie

We are jealous - spring won't be sprung here for a while. More snow predicted for next week, and temps in the teens....Brrrrr.

Spring Rocks! She deserved treats for being left behind.

It's turning spring around here too!!! Lots and LOTS of green! This area out in the BLM land behind us is one that they have tours to see the wildflowers in. That will probably start in another couple of weeks or so.

So much fun to go out for walks in a "new spring world!" Dottie was right to insist that she get treats for being left behind. They've been leaving me behind when they go out to run in the pastures lately... something about me overdoing and then they have to carry me around at night.

Your scrapbook is wonderful, and I'll bet your Mom really LOVES it! I wonder if I could get Mom to make me one! OC

PS: Dott is trying to get her Dad to wear a tinfoil hat per your suggestion, but he says THAT is silly. She's really worried that he will be taken over by those aliens again.
