Back to Work with News Thrown In

Mum went to Arizona last week but returned last night. It was about time if you ask me. We stayed at our favorite clubhouse, Inavale Farm, and played late into the night(s). Dottie went to stay at Ark Veterinary Hospital because she had to have an x-ray.

The vet said Dottie is bleeding because of bladder stones. There isn't anything that can be done because of Dots' age. Since Dottie isn't in pain, and she isn't losing a lot of blood, Mum brought her home. Dottie went running through the house and barked and barked until she got a chewie. How come I do that and no one gives me a chewie?

Mum said Dottie doesn't have to eat the prescription kibble any more and she can have as much wet food as she wants. Mum is even putting Dottie's meds in cream cheese! How cool is that? Dottie thinks it is awesome, she told me so. Anyway, we hope Dottie has lots of days ahead and I am letting her have first run at all the stuffies so she can pull out their insides first.

Cooper says Dottie is our Queen Bee. I still think she smells funny.

Poor Dottie! I suppose age will wear and tear on all of us. *sigh* You're very good to let her tear up the toys first, Dozer. I think you deserve a chewy for that. Tell your mum we said it was OK.

Oh Dottie! I hope that those stones are not hurting you. If you have to take pills, cream cheese is the way to go. Let Dozer be jelly. You deserve the royal treatment.

Sorry to hear the lengths you have to go to to get unlimited kibbles and cream cheese these days. Poor Dottie. Hang in there! We hope this royal treatment goes on for lots of days too!
