We Can Win Sheep

Check out this great giveaway at Serenity Farms (click to visit). La Vonne is having this giveaway wherein you can win sheep - it's part of her CSA (Community Supported Agriculture). Yes, you heard it here first! If you win, La Vonne is going to put a bunch of sheep on a plane and send them to your house - absolutely free! Can you imagine the happy look on your parent's face when they open the door and there are all these sheep! I know, how cool is that? Cooper is trying to figure out how to stuff the ballot box (which should take him a couple of centuries at this rate) and Dottie is ignoring me completely.

Uh wait just a second...Cooper said he actually read the fine print and apparently La Vonne is not actually sending the sheep, she is sending the wool that she cuts off the sheep. Well it is all very confusing but this is what La Vonne said - if you win you get either 1 lb (that is 4 skeins) of wool or an assortment of Serenity Sheep roving. I guess you can see the confusion - 4 skeins of wool or roving sheep. I told Cooper he is wrong and that we can win the roving sheep and just tell La Vonne to keep the wool.

So! Mosey on over to the sheep farm and pick out the ones you want La Vonne to send to you. Aren't contests fun? Howie, if you win, we'll bring the sheep with Burt!

HA! YOu sure had me fooled too! Dozer and Coop. I thought, oh.....he's a dozer operator, as in bull dozer and she's got a coop full of chickens! Little did I know as I was reading that it's a dog's blog! :0) I thought I was disappointing some little human boy who wanted sheep! Sorry coop!

Do you have a spinning wheel to make that wool into yarn? Would the sheep live in the house with the rest of you? There are more questions than I can answer.

haha, we can have FIVE according to the rules in our county--one per acre. Send them on over. I know we will bark at them. Hope one of us wins. You can come herd them if we win.

love & wags,
River

Dozer, if we get some sheep, does that mean we can eat Burt the Buffalo? Do you think Emmy will notice if Burt is on a bun with extra ketchup instead of in the back yard grazing?

Too bad she's not sending sheep... that'd be FUN!
