Mum cannot update our blog for a bit. Her father is very ill and she is staying close at hand to be of any kind of assistance that may be needed. Dad is taking good care of us but we have a complaint list started (lack of treats three times a day, heated water beds, new toys, etc..) that we will present to Mum when she has time to read it.
It is hard sometimes to be a dog. You can't tell people to get well but perhaps when we put our head up for a scratch or lean gently against a leg, they know.

I am sending good thoughts to your mom because this is a very difficult time for her. You need to just suck it up right now and quit your bellyaching. Besides, dads are usually an easy mark for forbidden foodables like pizza and donuts.

Yes, humans can be pretty dense sometimes but they do know when we're telling them to get well.
