Hallelujah Summer has Arrived!

We can't believe it! Summer has arrived and we have had 80 degree days! And we know it is summer because...

...the peonies are blooming and smell wonderful...

...Mum has her madras shorts out...

...and the wading pool is out and full!...

..and the chipmunk tarantulas are out! EEEEKKKkkk!
(We're just kidding, there aren't any chipmunk tarantulas in Oregon, they only live in California)

Dear Dozer: Thank you everly so much for your kind invitation. I also am considered too young to date even though I am four and ONE-HALF years old. I have a lot of friends, though, and would be honored if you would be one of them. We are both originally from the UK, you being Welsh and me being from Yorkshire, so I think we have a lot in common. I look forward to corresponding with you, even if they incarcerate you for that totally understandable encounter you had with the feather duster. I would definitely appeal, as I am certain cats cannot be trusted.

Affectionately yours,

Miss Mary-Margaret O'Brien

Your mom broke out the short pants? That is a sure sign of summer.

The flower is beautiful, but that Chipmunk Spider has to GO!!! That is nasty and freaked Grammy out! I wonder if Robert got a good look at the chipmunk that Sadie had cornered under the doghouse outside the other day... Hope it wasn't one of THOSE things and he just didn't count the legs!
