Mum has left for North Carolina to see her parents.
Dad is hangin' with us in our hood.
We thought we'd wait by our window in
case Mum comes to her senses and comes back
tonight. But Dottie says she won't.
Cooper is crying but I'm not.
I'm tough, Corgis don't cry.
If you see Mum could you tell her she needs
to come home right now? It is really important.
Dad doesn't know my bed time song or how
to tuck me in.
And Cooper needs his nose wiped. And soon.

This calls for a party! But no cats, ok? :)
Things can be rough without mom around for sure. But maybe you can convince dad to split a pizza with you and slip Dogs Gone Wild into the DVD player.
Slobbers,

I think you need to take advantage of this situation. Dad's don't know about how often you should get your dinner OR how many treats you get. Make sure to tall him you eat SIX times a day and get LOTS of in between meal treats!!
Dad says everything will be okay. He is having a party tonight and we get to meet some Aunts we didn't know know we had. Their names are Tessie "Bam Bam" Larue,Fifi "Tassles" Latoure and Desiree "Vroom Vroom" Luscious. Apparently, they are entertainers.
They must be nice since he is very busy cleaning and all. Lots of company will be by. How exciting.
