So I came up with this brilliant idea for today's blog entry - let's have a red, white and blue picture! Mum and Dad went to the annual Car Show at the park (yes, the park we walk in!) and there were lots and lots of cars. The cars were wonderful, as were the hot dogs, chips and elephant ears (I really think it is very bad to eat the ears off of elephants, how will they hear us if they don't have ears. There must be a law against this sort of thing. I will call the ASPCA when I finish here.)
So Mum took this picture of Dad in front of a wonderful red car, with white wall tires and then of course Dad is in a blue shirt, shorts and then...oh my. Well, uh..I cannot believe this. How could I have been adopted into a family where someone is wearing black socks with shorts? Isn't this a fashion violation? Oh, I am so embarrassed. Quit laughing Dozer! This is not funny! Okay, well, here's the picture and please don't tell anyone about my family, okay?

Dad and Dott's Master are into OLD Cars and loved the pic... Great Idea! We prefer to think that maybe they are VERY DARK Navy Blue socks?
Doug went to an ASPCA shelter yesterday. I see you support them. Dott is devestated.
Uh oh, I think your dad went to the geek school of fashion (just like my mom - who wears whatever socks are on the top regardless of her outfit).
Nice red, white, and blue for the holidays.
I am also concerned about those elephant ears. At least they weren't corgi ears, though.

If he was going to wear black socks, the least he could have done is to pull them up to his knees, for goodness sakes!!! The INDIGNITY of it all!
Let me know what you find out about those elephant ears, it doesn't sound good. Humans eat the weirdest things. About the socks well I won't comment.

ha! ha! At least they aren't black knee socks at the BEACH!! Been there, seen that. Hey, you should see how Momma looks sometime...I'll try to sneak a picture. Maybe we could do a "my parents are embarrassing because...." post some day.
