Saturday Doings - Notes from Dozer

Mum seems bent on accomplishing a lot this weekend. We went to the All Natural Doggie Day Spa and each of us had our nails done. We love the women there and they love me. How they 'ooo' and 'ahhhh' over me is almost embarressing. What Mum has not figured out is why we make such a fuss at the vet if we have to have our nails cut, but will stand still and let the ladies at the Spa do it without a growl. Go figure! It is very hot here. So Mum cleaned my pool and filled it up. Nothing makes you feel cooler than having your paws in a pool. Now if Mum would just throw some dog cookies in so I could snack while I cool off.

Hi Dozer and Coop, you mean you had your nails done and you didn't bite anyone? My Mommy is working one that one. The pool looks fun and cool, if you get thirsty can you drink the water? Because I don't like baths, my Mom is afraid to get me a pool. It is hot here and we have fans to cool me off.

Great nails! TaiChi loves it when she gets her nails painted. I don't have mine painted because it doesn't last long when I am hiking - but I still love the paw wax!

You're supposed to soak your feet, before, having your nails done, silly!

Wow, a Doggy Spa!? I guess you guys are forgiven... at least mostly. I also see that your paw is well, Dozer. So glad about that!

Our pool has a hole in it and only holds a little bit of water in one side when it is tipped. Mom puts it out for Sadie and Doug when they have to stay outside for any period of time. She plans to get us a new one when we get paid.

Meanwhile, while we aren't formally grounded, we really can't go out much at all because of the heat around here... of course, I imagine the squirrels are staying low too.
