A busy weekend - bear with me

We had a very busy weekend which had a lot to do with me, Dozer. First, on Saturday, our vet, Ark Animal Hospital, had an open house. Cooper and I got to go (Dottie was napping and Mum felt it best that Dots rest). We checked in at the front desk and saw one of favorite techs, Jasmine!

Mum filling out our door prize tickets.

Goodness woman, how long is it going to take to get these tickets filled out?

The silent auction tables. Mum signed up for the car pad for the backseat.

There was an agility course behind the vet's office and Mum thought.."Wouldn't this be a good time to see if Dozer has an aptitude?"
Cooper had no natural inclinations other than to see if he could run into the woods!

Here I am checking out the turf

Mum seemed possessed at me going up on the bridge. Sadly, she was disappointed.
Sharon (my new teacher) showed me the tunnel.

I had another go at the tunnel. I was widely successful!

Mum and Dad took a trip, without us, to Mary's Peak because it was such a beautiful day.

You can see the mountains over the valley.

Aren't the mountains pretty? Oregon really has the market on blue skies on a good day!

This is looking out over the valley - the Willamette Valley.

Da taking pictures (he took all the ones up at Mary's Peak - he's much better at pictures than Mum.)

This is Mum trying to take pictures of bumble bees.

Mum takes this picture taking very seriously - for goodness sakes! they are just bumble bees!

See how blue the sky is?

Finally Mum and Da returned and filled up my pool.

And this is me after a small water fight with the hose.
I won.
No matter what anyone tells you!

Mum says this picture pushes the bounds of good taste,
but I say it works...

Sleepy Sunday - Quiet Time

The stretched out nap position

"Flashy box woke me up. Throw it away...now!"

The editor loves cocker spaniel paws

They are so adorable

Cooper falls asleep mid-scratch session

Dottie asleep in the family room

(Dots is having some problems with her back legs, but still enjoys going outside and eating the apples off the ground and checking her favorite bushes. She does get "lost" and needs help finding the door back inside.)

And yes, this is me sticking my tongue out at you'se.

Hallelujah Summer has Arrived!

We can't believe it! Summer has arrived and we have had 80 degree days! And we know it is summer because...

...the peonies are blooming and smell wonderful...

...Mum has her madras shorts out...

...and the wading pool is out and full!...

..and the chipmunk tarantulas are out! EEEEKKKkkk!
(We're just kidding, there aren't any chipmunk tarantulas in Oregon, they only live in California)

Sleepy Sunday - Dottie

Editors Note: We have not updated the blog this past week because Mum has been sick. Both she and Da have had this chest thingy and have been coughing and tired. Real tired. But now they are on medicine and are getting much better.
